Core Masters – Major Mode Impressions
Few weeks back i did a general impression about Core Masters コアマス, while playing the other game mode here – http://mobamonster.com/core-masters-japan-open-beta-impressions/ this mode was bit more casual orientated and fast phased than “Major Mode” メジャーモード which will be probably the main Competitive mode in the games scene, atleast thats what i think and presume. Playing the other game mode got me really hyped, because it has more strategical depth and it takes longer to finish, so you can finish all your items and that.
What are key differences in Major Mode?
There is few differences between Major Mode and the Arena map, although there is lot of similarities such as its still 4v4 and you have to collect orbs from turrets. The map unlocks when you reach level 10, but your able to play it via customs at level 4 i think.
- Orb collecting won’t decide who wins the game. Your able to shoot orbs to enemy base, which is the victory condition.
- Everybody stars on Level 3
- Games last much longer and are less snowbally.
- The way map is shaped there is many angles where you can move from. There is two entrances to the main base.
I really like Major mode, compared to the other map, but if your in it for 5-10 minute game, maybe Major Mode isn’t for you. As for news of Western release, there is none. But we will keep you posted once we obtain any information regarding the game.
